If you’re curious why sore eyes, tiredness, or lack of focus are a typical part of the day, this test revealed a big chunk of the problem.

First off, if, like me, you work your tail off via a computer every day and experience the above, please know there’s NOT something wrong with you. It’s the PROCESS we learned and it’s a simple fix. Also, it ain’t your fault you’re a beast in front of a computer screen. That’s your hammer and you’re just hitting the nails.

After being curious for a while, I took a light meter to my Mac and measured the light coming from it. It showed a spike of blue/violet light and a tiny bit of red light.

Before we get to the process, let’s understand light. Natural blue/violet light comes from the sun. We’re normally
ONLY see blue/violet when it's more or less balanced with red light. That’s because while blue/violet light stresses the body, red light helps it heal.

So, if blue/violet light activates stress, continuous time seeing blue/violet (without enough healing light) is a recipe for over-stress. That’s how tiredness, crummy focus and feeling burned out enter the picture.

Now, the PROCESS. It’s not the computer screen or your eyes—Working every day in front of a screen without strong enough protection is the problem.

Image 4 shows me taking the same measurement—except this time with our light balancing eyewear. It’s something we made for hustlers who want to stay healthy and feel great at work.

The results were awesome. Blue/violet light was crushed to the same level as red. This makes all the difference.

Sure, pictures and video look better without tinted glasses—but at what cost? Worsening vision and lagging focus and burnout? No thanks. For work that isn’t color intensive, these do the trick.

What a pricey light meter designed for 🎥 sets can show us about computer screens...

If you use a computer to write/read/learn/edit and deal with any of the mentioned obstacles, you’ll see a significant difference in how you feel and work after balancing light in your space.

Let's do this!

First, what's your priority?

  • BETTER FOCUS
  • BETTER SLEEP

You’re not the only one who, at times, can have trouble concentrating. In fact, light that comes from computer screens is known to eat up more brain power than a 9th grade history lecture. No matter if you’re putting in 8 hour days or 18 hour days, our work-time eyewear helps you eliminate eye strain instantly. It also protects vision, stops headaches before they happen, balances stress hormones, and, yes, makes it easier to focus. That’s because the technology baked into our lenses neutralizes damaging blue and other high-energy violet light. Being productive is important but it’s not easy with dips in focus. We’re here to bridge the gap. Advanced Eye Armor’s lenses might not turn you into Tony Stark, but they’ll sure give you an unfair advantage when it comes to getting things done. They’ll also leave your eyes feeling relaxed and happy which is arguably the more important of the two. If you give these a shot, whether you buy them outright or try them for free, we hope you enjoy them.

Falling asleep isn’t always easy. Worse than counting 50,000 sheep is feeling like a zombie first thing in the morning. Most rely on the “just deal with it” mentality. Power through! 4 shots of espresso later, they’re finally up and runningto the bathroom, that is. AM habits aside, what would it be like to fall asleep like clockwork and wake up refreshed? No, one can not only dream. See, whether it comes from digital screens or fixtures, light at night kills melatoninour ticket to quality sleep. The brain gets tricked into thinking it’s day-time and hormones get thrown off. That’s where we come in. Our night-time eyewear protects melatonin. The technology baked into our red lenses balances hormones and helps your body prepare for sleep. Night Flow lets your body ease into night mode. This makes it possible to get shut-eye faster and get better quality sleep. Mornings after may not mean waking up with the birds but you’ll certainly have more energy and, heck, maybe even a crack a smile before 8am.
